The Philidas® MKV Nut is a low cost production all metal self locking nut which is most suited to high volume applications.
These locknuts are manufactured in steel Grade 8, 10, and 12 from M4 to M36. Sizes up to M16 can be cold-formed or bar turned dependent on the quantity and sizes.
The Philidas® MKV Nut has a relatively high prevailing torque, which is obtained by two-point deforming for consistent characteristics across load-bearing threads. These nuts can be re-used.
Available in a wide range of thread styles.
These locknuts are available in various sizes and a small range of imperial sizes – with non stocked sizes available as specials.
