Kemtron manufacture electrically conductive sheet of silicone or fluorosilicone loaded with electrically conductive particles including nickel coated graphite, nickel coated graphite UL94V0, silver plated aluminium, silver plated copper, silver plated glass and pure nickel. Standard sheet sizes are from150mm to 500mm square and from 0.5mm thick up to 3.2mm thick, other sizes and thicknesses are available on request.

MAJR Products’ EMI Shielded Fan Ventilation Panels (shielded fan vents) are manufactured to meet the commercial market’s requirements for a low-cost, high-quality EMI fan vent panel. These small fan sized shielded waveguides are available in five standard sizes using a 0.250” thick honeycomb material and have an overall thickness with gasket of 0.407”. Standard gasket is a Monel wire embedded in a solid silicone with an optional gasket of a beryllium copper fingerstock. Tin plate (MIL-T-10727), nickel plate (MIL-C-26074A) or a RoHS compliant plating are available upon request.

MAJR’s line of ready-to-install EMI/RFI honeycomb ventilation panels provide optimum EMI/RFI shielding with minimum pressure drop for the ventilating air. Shielded vent panel effectiveness is accomplished using waveguide honeycomb design principles.
Choosing the right Honeycomb Ventilation Panels that will best meet your design considerations is based on three main criteria: shielding, air flow and mounting. For most applications, aluminum code-32 honeycomb (properly installed using MAJR’s mounting frame with integral EMI/RFI gasket) will provide a degree of attenuation that will be within specification limits (see table 1). However, for the lower frequency range (H-field), it may be necessary to specify MAJR’s material tin plated steel code-44.

MAJR’s line of custom shielded air filters is designed to aid in applications where the need for EMI/RFI shielding is marginal and the filtering of dust particulate and foreign object debris is essential.
Our high-efficiency shielded air filtration panels are supplied ready to install with an EMI/RFI gasket as an integral part of the filter assembly. The rigidity of the mounting frame makes installation and removal for cleaning an easy task. The filter media used in the panels can be supplied as a dry or wet filter. Keep in mind that impingement of fine dust particles on filters with a glutinous oil coating is greatly enhanced.
